Great Straight Clipin Extensions

This is the second part of the process to getting your hair extensions looking and feeling great. This is also the easiest way I have found to prepare the hair for a number of different styles (straight, curled, roller set etc.)

Begin by hanging your now completely dried hair on a stable line such as the one pictured. Use the clips shown which can be purchased in our online store "here" or whatever clips you have that can do a similar job. The hair can be hung 2-3 wefts thick depending on the heating power of your straightening irons. You may need up to 10 depending on the amount you are styling. This hair is the same hair as seen on the previous tutorial "Washing Clipin Hair Extensions".

begin by switching on your irons as some models can take a while to heat up. I hang my irons on the line as seen pictured as the plates are not having to touch anything in this position.

**Tip**. Hang all of your hair before starting to avoid having to search for it while you are heat styling. This saves on the time and allows the hair to cool in a good position. Also, flip the clips up so you are able to get right to the top of the wefts. you can see what I mean of you look at the final picture in this tutorial.

next, take a comb and comb the hair to be straightened. begin at the bottom and work your way up.

Now take your straightening irons and section off a small amount of the hair (around 2-4cm wide). starting from the bottom, begin straightening. sometimes it can be difficult to hold the hair in the comb so what i do is hold the very tips of the hair taut and run the irons just at the bottom as shown.

Continue on until you have finished the whole section. Now do the same with the next section.

And there you have it. beautifully straight hair ready for installation.

**tip** Leave hair to hang for a few minutes before installing so that the hair is cooled into its new texture.
